A zirconium silicate flour produced by milling zircon-rich sand to a closely controlled particle size, nominally 300’s mesh.
APPLICATIONS
Zircosil D is used widely for its refractory and opacifying properties in the glass, ceramic, refractory & plastics industries, Small additions of Zircosil D improve the mechanical strength of glass and impart alkali resistance to glass fibers used in reinforced concretes.
